Concept:

Flat open spaces with outstanding light and shadow using to convey peaceful and pure feeling.



Lumion


Five images be chosen :



Bird view

This scene is showing the site of the building that is built on the edge of waterfall. Horizontal locating of the building is to integrate the landscape of waterfall. It gives you the sense of nature when you hear the sound of slow flowing waterfall and see the view of these three steps landscape.


Meeting space 

The meeting space on the back site is where visitors can sit and chat on the outdoor area and also have the view of wonderful sunset.



Monument Two

Monument two intersecting with the meeting space is built for Aldo Van Eyck. Stairs around the monument which is convenient for visitors to see the information on the wall of the monument. It is like the process of  visiting. Rectangular solid intersecting with the flat meeting place is trying to memorize visitors that Aldo is an architect famous for overlapping geometry and labyrinthian way design. 





Curvilinear Bridge

For this bridge link to the meeting space, the curve using stands for Ricardo's concept of free flowing movement. It makes a illusion to guide visitors to other spaces like walking on the water.



  Monument one

Monument one  in the middle of the pool was built for Ricardo. Visitors can walk around this monument and take a chat with this beautiful view. Also triangle open space creates intersting  shadow on the floor also convey his concept of contrast of structural mass.

 Meeting place

This scene is showing the meeting space for students. The purpose of planting the tree inside is to create the open space with the natural environment. Flat space and mainly used white color help to convey the concept of pure and peaceful feeling.

 Medium




Medium square pattern on the momument  for Ricardo create a kind of material on the smooth face. It also stands for the concept of him which is contrast of structural mass when you see the black and white stripes that can make a illusion of getting into a deeper space.


Light



Light texture on the road to the swimming pool makes the sense of relaxing. Also the square pattern on it is integrated to the style of Aldo that suitable to the long rectangle passageway. 



Dark




Dark and curvilinear pattern distinguishes with the rectangular structure of the block. It attracts attention from visitors when they walk through this area. So it can convey the information and memory to visitors easily.
